Description
At Industries you can create a group with other players! For example, you can team up with your friends and help each other advance your empires. You can ask each other for raw materials and products and trade among yourselves for better prices.
Company alliance
In the company connection you can see if you are a member of a group. There you can see at a glance everything you need to know about your group: the name of the group, the description, when it was created, how many members or how many other players are in it, and the total value of the group. The latter is composed of the company values of the joined players.
You will also find a list of the companies that have joined, sorted by their company value. You can see at a glance which player or company is eligible for moderation in your group. (See moderation)
With the buttons below you can also view other groups in the world of Industries or leave your group or even create a new one.
Group messages
In the "Group messages" tab you will find the messages that members of your group have sent. You can ask each other there for raw materials that you might want to trade among yourselves on better terms, or you can just send a friendly "hello" to the group. With the "Messages" button at the bottom you can send a message to all members of your group. All messages written there will go to the entire group. If you want to send a message to an individual player, open his details by clicking on his name and then you can send a message using the "Message" button. You can also add other players to your address book so that you can always find them again.
Always pay attention to the Netiquette when sending messages. See also Messages and Contracts.
Requests
In the "Requests" tab of group messages you can see requests from other groups who would like to have you as a member of their group. You can accept or reject them there. Please note that you can only belong to one group at a time. If you are already a member of a group and accept a request from another alliance, you will leave the current group. Of course, you can always send a request to join this and other groups again.
If you are a moderator of a group, you will also see requests from other players who would like to join your group. (See moderation)
Moderation
You can recognize moderators of a group by the yellow star in front of their name.
When you create a new group, you are the moderator for it. You can ask companies and their players to join your group. If you have met a player you like, e.g. on the market, you can click on his name to see his details (description, date of foundation, company value and associated group). You will now find a button "Invite to group" at the bottom. When you click this button, you send the player a request to join your group. It doesn't matter if the player is already in another group or not.
As a moderator, you also have the right to kick other companies and their players out of your group if they have behaved inappropriately or if you simply don't want them in your group anymore. You can view the details of this player and click the "Remove from group" button. The player will then no longer be a member of your group, but can always send a request to join again. You can also invite them to join your group again at any time.
If you don't want to moderate your group alone, you can also appoint other members to become a moderator of your group. To do this, click the "Nominate moderator" button in the player details. You can only appoint players as moderators who have already joined your group. The player will automatically and immediately become a moderator, they will not be asked to do so. Be careful who you appoint as a moderator, because this player now has all the rights that you have as a moderator, i.e. he can also kick you out of the group.
If you don't want a player to be a moderator anymore, you can remove him from this position. To do this, click on his company and then you will find the button "Remove moderator" at the bottom. You can also remove yourself as a moderator by clicking on your company and then on the button "Remove moderator". Each group needs at least one moderator.
